Description

Ingrid Clare is a multi media artist specialising in acrylic painting, digital iPad art, mixed media and resin art. She has developed her own recognisable style, is self taught, holds regular workshops and sells her own line of greeting cards and other products.

Ingrid has been painting or creating on and off over the past 20 years. Inspired by a trip to Africa, Ingrid re-kindled her love for painting faces and wildlife. Although her style is ever changing, it always incorporates nature, pattern and the faces she is well known for painting.

Ingrid’s aim through her artwork is to evoke feelings in the viewer, whether it be simply admiration, love for colour, or a common love for animals, wildlife, and protecting them and nature. Her workshops are for those who dare to let themselves create from an intuitive place, the beginners and/or the experienced artist that want to simply create and have fun. Ingrid has sold her work from art shows, Ayers Rock gallery and privately through her website and social media.

In 2018, Ingrid will be collaborating with another mixed media fibre artist in NSW, holding several workshops. She also has the honour of one of her paintings appearing on a book cover that is due out early 2018. Her current available artworks are stocked in the beautiful, Stay Wild Boutique, in Yandina on the Sunshine Coast, or available by website. Her workshops and new product lines will also be starting in early 2018.
